The banded sunfish (Enneacanthus obesus) is a freshwater fish of the family, Centrarchidae. They can grow to 2–3 inches long. They are native to North America. Temperance: Both species are peaceful In terms of temperance the Black Banded were out and about in the tank and did not hide even when other fish were around. They moved in slow and measured movements and came to the front when food was presented.
