I have a 1.0GS I reported it under warranty but mr T did nothing. A new clutch from Toyota is £450 fitted, a clutch specialist in hull quoted £225. Now they are all auto adjust, I just wonder that with the clutch getting hot it expanded and caused a slight mal adjustment, which as you say, settled when the clutch cooled down. Web29 jul. 2009 · I get occasional clutch judder from my 2.2D in 1st gear from cold which goes away after it warms up a bit. My car is parked on the driveway so I am sure the damp/cold is a factor. Unfortunately the gear selection gets worse as the engine starts to warm up, particularly into 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
