Theoretically speaking a TTB D44 should handle 35" tires, a straight axle D44 again, 35" tires unless you start upgrading, and a TTB D50 should handle up to a 37" tire.

But, if your Bronco truly sees the kind of use you are describing, I'd keep it (TTB) in favor of independant front suspension and a nicer ride. My Pittman arm needed to be swapped, the springs and front drive shaft should have been swapped, everything else went fairly smoothly.
