Web29 dec. 2008 · I had Honeywell TrueSteam 509 humidifier installed in late November. I have it controlled with VisionPro IAQ and also have an outdoor temp sensor. I have humidity set to 45% and frost to 4. It has been working great. On days when temps are hovering around freezing, it has no problem keeping the set humidity. Web16 jun. 2015 · 1. My suggestion is that you take a look at that plastic bulkhead fitting closely. The drain hose is attached and clamped in place with a nylon tie wrap. Upon inspection you will likely see that if the hose were removed the outer portion of that bulkhead fitting would screw off like a nut. The rest of the fitting projects through from the inside.
