The album here is like a pizza, you put everything you have then shove it in the oven, yes the album is a mix of everything.
NettetLinkin Park have often experimented through their discography and didn't follow the same nu-metal formula that composed their first two albums. The peak of their experimentation was when both "A Thousand Suns" & "LIVING THINGS" were released. Although I think "A Thousand Suns" is a bit boring, I admire the band for taking risks. NettetIt's the loudest and most aggressive song on the album, and the two play off of each other, making it one of my favorite tracks. The second third of Living Things is where things get interesting. I'll be Gone fits with what we've heard so far, and Castle of Glass plays out like a lighter sounding version of “The Catalyst”.
