A tub has a hard nonporis surface, water will work it's way behind the base and will cause mold or at least reliece the glue. Most ofen there's just silicone caulking. Base is stopped on the outside edges of the tub. Work some adhesive under the edge and lay some books on to hold it down until the adhesive sets. Then recaulk with silicone or RTV caulk. Once the seal between the floor and tub is broken, water gets in and loosens the adhesive, and the vinyl will curl. Upvote.
