WebbSo when looking through architectural archives, I was surprised to come across Simon Ungers’ T-House, completed in 1986. Like much of Ungers’ other work, this is a pared-back design that is striking in its simplicity. T-House is located in Wilton, NY, about three hours north of New York City. WebbSimon Ungers was building it for himself to live out the end of his life. Ungers who was originally from Germany, had gone to Cornell University in Ithaca, and the area had held a special place in his heart. Unfortunately, Ungers passed away before the house was finished and never got the chance to live there.
